As a system developer and data architect, I am enthusiastic about creating intelligent health monitoring systems using the Internet of Things (IoT). Currently, I am involved in three EU-funded projects: Moore4Medical (EU/ECSEL JU and Business Finland), NewLife (EU/KDT JU, and Business Finland), and RM4Health (ITEA4). In these projects, I am responsible for developing and managing medical data collection, storage, and processing systems.

Concurrently, I am engaged in doctoral studies at the University of Turku, where my research endeavors are directed towards the advancement and efficient management of IoT-based health monitoring systems.

As a Researcher

My research focuses on leveraging IoT technology for comprehensive remote patient monitoring and diagnosis in the home setting. I'm actively involved in several scientific projects exploring this field. The most notable ones include:

NewLife/ RM4Health / Moore4Medical / APPLAUSE / SAFE / IoCT-CARE / SPA

Through these projects, I've not only made significant technical contributions but also achieved impressive scientific results:

When dealing with large-scale deployments involving numerous subjects, data sources, gateways, and locations, I handle data engineering tasks. This includes creating data pipelines that efficiently store and process data streams on a centralized cloud platform.

As A Designer

  • With over 20 years of hands-on in graphic design, I bring a creative eye to user interface (UI) design. I craft user-friendly interfaces for web pages, mobile applications (e.g., e-commerce, games), and embedded devices, focusing on usability and visual appeal.
